Best way to run cable?

My attick is wery small not to mention all the insulation over it so i was wanting to know if i use a fish tape to run a coax cable, can i use the fish tape having the coax cable go up the wall and into the attick were i can later just grab the cable in the attick without having to squeeze my way or do i need to do it from the attick and down the wall?
