Why the heck do I need algebra?

I'm 13 and NOT going to college because I'd DIE if I had to have 4 more years of school. XP I'm homeschooled, a freshman, and wondering: WHY DO I NEED ALGEBRA IF I'M NOT GOING TO COLLEGE? It's not like I'm going to be a mathematician or anything like that. I'm planning on maybe working at a day care for a year or so, marrying, settling down, and becoming a stay-at-home mom. You don't really need algebra for that.
