Why does Abraham's sacrifice of Isaac mean so much more to Muslims?

Judaism, Christianity and Islam all recount the story of the Prophet Abraham's (Ibrahim's) willingness to sacrifice his son, with some variations. But only Islam celebrates the story with a 10-day period of sacrifice and rejoicing. It's the same Prophet, the same sacrifice, the same outcome. Why does the story mean so much more to Muslims?
